Nvidia Firefly smartbook
The Nvidia Firefly smartbook comes with the Tegra platform and Windows CE operating system. The Tegra platform is different to ION in that it pairs an ARM-based processor with an Nvidia GeForce GPU (ION pairs an Intel Atom CPU with the Nvidia 9400M graphics).

This Nvidia Firefly smartbook seperates from the rest because it has an Nvidia Geforce GPU inside. The grafics are indeeed spectacular. This is a paradigm shift in the world of mobilily!
What is also really important when you look at the Nvidia Q2 figures was that they are now marking the appearance of Tegra inside the balance sheets. According to the numbers we saw, Tegra had a little less than 10 million dollars in revenue. But, Tegra scored massive 50 design wins, with 35 of them being in the smartbook arena. That means 35 different smartbook designs comming to market. Only from the Tegra platform…it is going to be a smartbook tsunami.
